Our technology turns waste feedstocks into renewable gasoline,
allowing consumers to reduce their carbon footprint using the vehicle they have today.
Gasoline accounts for more than 20% of U.S. energy-related CO2 emissions, and demand for gasoline is expected to remain strong over time despite increased adoption of electric vehicles (EVs). BCF's renewable gasoline reduces lifecycle emissions by more than 60% compared to traditional gasoline. This enables drivers to make an immediate, meaningful reduction to their carbon footprint.
Renewable gasoline is a drop-in fuel, leveraging existing gasoline infrastructure and filling stations without any new investment required. It avoids the challenges that EVs face (affordability, range, charging infrastructure) while allowing for the rapid decarbonization of Light Duty Vehicles on the road today.
We developed and patented our syngas-to-gasoline technology, known as STG+ ®, over the course of a decade.
Our units are scaled to accommodate the volume of waste feedstock.
We've standardized our design to minimize capital requirements and streamline production.
Our renewable gasoline does not require refining or upgrading. The STG+® process is distinctly different than Fischer-Tropsch (FT), and produces a single product.
Our demonstration facility in Hillsborough, NJ has operated more than 10,500 hours, producing on-spec gasoline or methanol.
